LeapThe leap residencies are extended programs bringing arts into public classrooms on a weekly basis. From January to June of 2008, I worked with 11 different classes at The John Yehall Chin Chinese/American School on Broadway in San Francisco. The residency was set up to enhance classroom curriculum through creative dramatics, physical comedy, & theatrical improv. We had school-wide performances during the first week of June. This year, I'll be working with LEAP again. Stay tuned to hear about the new residency. www.leap4kids.org |

Performances
"Noidler" made an appearance at "The Swivel Arts Benefit" at "Dance Mission" (24th & Mission) on February 24th, 2008. Right now, "Noidler" is busy picking her teeth.
Swivel ArtsDuring Spring Break (March 24th-28th), Trish led a special program for kids with Deborah Ben-Eliezer of "Swivel Arts" in San Francisco. Kids learned how to theatrically play back written stories. This was a particularly fun week of classes, very creative. We used characters & situations from my children's book, "Zephrum Gates & The Mysterious Purple Haze." We created and performed a 25-minute play that integrated Voice-Over, Dance, Costumes, & Characters. Each student got a copy of the book as part of their participation in the week. www.SwivelArts.com/camp.html
